Position Summary

The IT Manager will lead all IT operations across the Philippine office, ensuring uptime, security, and scalability of infrastructure. The role involves managing a team of IT professionals, aligning technology initiatives with business needs, and overseeing IT governance, projects, and support functions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop IT staff; set clear goals, KPIs, and performance evaluations.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure strong collaboration within IT and with other departments.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and adherence to best practices.

Infrastructure & Network Operations

  • Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize on‐premises and/or cloud infrastructure (servers, virtualization, storage).
  • Oversee LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls, VPNs, network monitoring and connectivity.
  • Ensure high availability, redundancy, load balancing, and capacity planning.

Security, Backup & Disaster Recovery

  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies: access control, patch management, endpoint protection, intrusion detection.
  • Oversee data backup strategies, restoration testing, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, audits, and remediation.

Systems & Software Management

  • Manage business systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM, collaboration tools) and integrations ensuring data accuracy and compatibility.
  • Oversee software deployment, upgrades, licensing, and vendor support.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and adopt new technologies to enhance efficiency.

IT Governance, Policies, & Compliance

  • Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, SLAs, and documentation standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, security assessments, and IT audits.

Budgeting & Vendor Management

  • Prepare and manage IT budgets, forecasts, procurement, and capital expenditures.
  • Manage vendor relationships: contracts, SLAs, service levels, and performance reviews.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure cost optimization.

Stakeholder Engagement & Strategic Planning

  • Engage with departmental heads to understand their needs, anticipate future IT demands, and propose solutions.
  • Align IT roadmap with business strategy and growth plans.
  • Report key metrics, incidents, projects, and risks to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (Master's degree or MBA a plus).
  • Minimum of
    5 years' experience in IT operations / infrastructure roles
    , with at least
    2 years in supervisory or managerial capacity
    .
  • Strong technical knowledge in network architecture, servers, virtualization, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP or hybrid), and cybersecurity.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Excellent leadership, decision making, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and handle multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Certifications (e.g. CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, Microsoft, ITIL, VMware) preferred.
  • Prior experience in a technology, data, SaaS, or analytics company is a plus.
