Overview

We are in search of an experienced Business Development Manager who will drive revenue growth through new business acquisition, channel partner expansion, and strategic alliances. The role combines strategic planning and hands-on execution across direct and indirect sales channels to maximize market reach and revenue potential.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across targeted sectors, demonstrating strong business development capabilities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets or customer segments, ensuring scalable growth.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate revenue forecasting.
  • Lead high-value negotiations and contract closures, driving impactful deals and partnerships.
  • Build and manage effective channel ecosystems, including resellers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Design and execute partner programs, incentive structures, and governance models to strengthen channel engagement.
  • Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with company goals and KPIs.
  • Drive co-marketing efforts and joint sales initiatives to maximize channel value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations to deliver compelling value propositions.
  • Use market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Mentor and manage teams of business development managers, partner leads, or channel specialists where applicable.
  • Maintain accountability for commercial performance, achieving targets related to revenue, margin, and market share.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel management, preferably within tech, FMCG, retail, or F&B sectors.
  • Proven track record of managing large enterprise accounts and complex partner ecosystems to drive revenue and strategic growth.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Sales mastery with a proven track record in business development and closing complex deals.
  • Experience managing reseller and distributor ecosystems.
  • Strategic thinking to design and execute long-term growth and partnership plans.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Deep market insight into industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behavior.
  • Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams or direct reports.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on KPIs, revenue goals, and ROI.
