Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director for Business Solutions Management for Services to lead the development, deployment, and lifecycle management of the service offerings of Microgenesis. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, creativity, market insight, and operational execution. The Director will define and enhance service offerings for the various products of Microgenesis such as IT infrastructure (servers, storage solutions, network equipment, data center solutions, software deployments, etc.), as well as develop and enhance the Managed IT Services offerings, while collaborating across departments to ensure product-market fit, delivery capability, and revenue achievement.

Responsibilities
  1. a. Product Strategy & Innovation - Drive the vision and development roadmap for the services and managed service offerings. Lead ideation of new products, services, and pricing models to address market demands and customer pain points.
  2. b. Strategic Planning - Work closely with direct superior and other senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for the effective management of the products and services, support for achieving company Sales Goals, implement continuous improvements to the products and services offered.
  3. c. Service Design & Definition - Translate market insights into clearly defined service packages and product documentation. Define technical and commercial scope, delivery mechanisms, SLAs, and scope of works for offerings such as infrastructure deployment, managed services, and support.
  4. d. Technology Expertise and Evaluation - Maintain a deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, platforms, and trends in IT services, and provide guidance and expertise to the team. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Make recommendations for adoption of best practices based on business requirements and industry trends. Reviews and evaluates the designs created by the Solutions Architect team to ensure the accuracy, high quality, relevance, and adherence with best practices of the proposed product and service offerings.
  5. e. Pricing & Cost Modeling - Develop and maintain pricing strategies, margin models, and cost structures. Build customizable costing plans based on bill of materials, labor, SLAs, licensing, and vendor costs.
  6. f. Cross-Functional Alignment - Work with Presales, Post-Sales, Technical, and Operations teams to ensure internal capability aligns with the requirements of the products and services. Guarantee service readiness, delivery quality, and operational sustainability.
  7. g. Sales Enablement & Pipeline Management - Support the Sales team by creating product playbooks, lead qualification criteria, proposal templates, and customer-facing collateral. Actively participate in opportunity management, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy sessions.
  8. h. Vendor & Partner Relationship Management - Lead engagement and contract management with vendor partners. Negotiate pricing, rebates, service-level alignment, and exclusivity agreements to support the company’s portfolio.
  9. i. Contracting & SLA Design - Develop and review customer agreements, master service agreements (MSAs), and service-level agreements (SLAs). Ensure that scopes of work and obligations are clearly defined and aligned with the organization’s delivery capabilities.
  10. j. Marketing & GTM Planning - Create product marketing strategies and go-to-market (GTM) plans that generate interest and leads. Collaborate with Marketing to run campaigns, launch events, and customer enablement activities.
  11. k. Performance & Sales Target Management - Manage product-level revenue targets and work closely with sales leaders to meet growth goals. Track sales performance by product line and recommend corrective actions or promotions as needed.
  12. l. Process and Continuous Improvement - Continuously optimize product and service development, rollout, and lifecycle management processes. Implement tools and methodologies to track product success and customer satisfaction.
  13. Other Responsibilities - Prepare regular product performance and pipeline reports for senior management. Support the executive team in board-level presentations or strategic planning. Handle special projects and assignments from the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Product Management, Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, other Business Courses, or related field; MBA or relevant Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT services/product management, with 4 years in a leadership capacity in an IT Systems Integrator or MSP environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in developing cost models, pricing strategies, and contract structures.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and marketing.
  • In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, storage, networking, cloud, etc.) and managed services delivery frameworks.
  • Experience managing vendor partnerships and service contracting.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
