About Our Client

We are a fast-growing international food FMCG company with a strong presence across Asia and beyond. As we expand into the Philippines, we are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and entrepreneurial Sales Manager - Exports & Distribution to lead our market entry and growth efforts. This is a pivotal pioneer role-you will be the first hire in the country and play a key role in shaping our local presence.

Job Description

As the Sales Manager for the Philippines, you will lead the company's market entry and growth strategy, establishing and managing a strong distribution network across the country. You'll be responsible for identifying and securing partnerships with distributors and key retail accounts, driving sales performance, and ensuring effective in-market execution. This role also involves coordinating with regional teams on export logistics and compliance, supporting cross-border trade initiatives, and conducting regular field visits to gather market insights and strengthen relationships. You'll provide ongoing sales reporting and forecasting, using data to inform strategic decisions. Given the remote setup and startup nature of the role, a high degree of independence, initiative, and maturity is essential.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales and distribution management within the food FMCG sector.
  • Strong network of distributors and retail partners in the Philippines.
  • Proven experience in export operations and regional coordination.
  • Highly independent and self-motivated- able to thrive in a remote, startup-like environment.
