The role supports achievement of national AR KPI benchmarks and client-specific KPIs, supports project work for all functions with offshore teams, ensures timeliness, and works with the Vice President to understand the economic impact of upstream revenue cycle errors causing denials. The role also provides data-driven processes to correct actions. Duties and responsibilities Plan, organize and direct overall operations of the Offshore Partners related to RCM, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner Work with the Vice President Revenue Cycle Services to set and manage target performance levels and reduce offshore staffing to meet the 50 FTE threshold by clearing backlogs Keep the team current with billing regulations and industry trends; update pathways, review with offshore teams, and ensure processes are followed Maximize cash collections, minimize A/R inventories, and minimize write-offs/non-collectible adjustments Engage with and manage the AR Follow Up team, including routine productivity and quality reviews Ensure the team meets follow-up quality and productivity standards Identify denial trends and make recommendations for prevention Create a monthly executive QA tracker of offshore performance for all functions and share with offshore vendors and VP Provide bi-weekly status updates to the VP on progress and trends Validate and approve monthly AR, invoices, and reports to the VP Create and develop pathways for offshore functions by collaborating with team managers and directors Provide management and supervisory duties related to educating, training, evaluating staff, and monitoring productivity Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and develop subordinate staff as applicable Develop and maintain quality control programs, including performance reviews Orient new hires and provide ongoing training and development Other duties as assigned Use, protect and disclose patients’ PHI in compliance with HIPAA standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience At least 5 years of experience managing and leading a physician business office/professional services CBO or MSO staff at a supervisory level or higher Ability to work well individually and in a team environment Reliable, responsible, goal-oriented and flexible Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills High integrity, with ability to handle sensitive information Ability to remain poised and confident in high-pressure situations Working conditions Work setup: Onsite Work schedule: US hours, night shift Physical demands: Move around the work area, sit, perform manual tasks, operate office equipment, extend arms, kneel, talk and hear Mental demands: Follow directions, collaborate, handle stress Work environment: The noise level is usually minimal Med-Metrix will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, political affiliation, military service, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
