About the role
This is a full-time, office-based Operations Manager position at TAPA KING INC' in Pasig City Metro Manila. As the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our manufacturing and logistics business. Your strategic leadership and operational expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and achieving our ambitious growth targets.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies and procedures to optimise productivity, quality and cost-effectiveness across our manufacturing, warehousing and distribution functions
- Manage and mentor a team of supervisors, coordinators and operational staff to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture
- Analyse production and logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
- Liaise with other department heads to ensure seamless integration across the business
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, proactively addressing any issues or bottlenecks
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute the overall business strategy
What we're looking for
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in operational management, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
- Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies and best-practice operations management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive data-driven decision making
- Exceptional people management and leadership capabilities, with a talent for building high-performing teams
- Proven track record of successfully implementing operational improvements and delivering measurable results
- Degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
