Position: Importation and Trading Manager

1.What will be your role

A. Trading

  • Monitor market data to track fuel prices, trends, and cost drivers.

  • Forecast price shifts and develop strategies to hedge risks and maximize profitability.

  • Ensure compliance with trading regulations, standards, and internal policies.

  • Coordinate with finance, operations, and risk teams to align activities with business goals.

B. Importation

  • Oversee end-to-end fuel importation, from sourcing to delivery.

  • Manage documentation and ensure compliance with customs, DOE, and shipping rules.

  • Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and government agencies for timely imports.

  • Optimize inventory flow to meet demand while controlling costs.

2. What you bring to the table

  • Expertise in fuel importation processes, documentation, and industry regulations.

  • Strategic thinking to optimize sourcing, pricing, and inventory flow.

  • Proficiency in using analytical tools, spreadsheet or excel software and trading.

  • Experience in fuel industry is an advantage

3.Must haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or any related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in petroleum importation, trading, or related field.

  • Deep knowledge of customs laws, DOE requirements, and shipping procedures.

  • Proven vendor management and market analysis skills.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
