Overview

Position: AU Payroll Officer

Location: Quezon City

Work setup & shift: WFH | Dayshift

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a workforce consisting primarily of field inspectors and head office staff.
  • Calculate and process employee entitlements, including overtime, travel reimbursements, allowances, and leave balances.
  • Reconcile payroll transactions and ensure accurate posting to the balance sheet.
  • Manage updates to employee records, awards, superannuation contributions, and terminations.
  • Support fortnightly, month-end, and year-end payroll reporting, audit requests, and statutory filings (STP, PAYG).
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll queries promptly and accurately.
Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, employee entitlements, and ATO compliance.
  • Proficiency in Xero Payroll is highly desirable.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables for reconciliation and reporting.
  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and process large volumes of payroll data efficiently.
