Base Logistics Officer – Masbate (Filipino Nationals Only) Location: Masbate City, Philippines. Duration: 3 months (Full‑time). Start date: ASAP. Overview Position: Base Logistics Officer. Organization: Acción contra el Hambre España (Action Against Hunger). Posting Date: 13 Oct 2025. Closing Date: 12 Nov 2025. Responsibilities Supply Chain Management – collect orders, update procurement follow‑up, prepare monthly purchase forecasts, supervise procurement quality/price/procedures, obtain necessary authorizations, inform related departments, monitor deliveries, update price catalogue, follow stock management procedures, clear freight, and cancel purchase advances as needed. Equipment Management – maintain premises facilities, assets and equipment; supervise allocation, installation and repair; update equipment and inventory lists; implement standard Action Against Hunger IT procedures; conduct quarterly physical inventory checks; report loss or damages. Fleet Management – collect movement plan information, report shortages to the Head of Base, prepare weekly movement planning, ensure safe loading/unloading, assist cargo dispatch. Reporting & Security – prepare Monthly Logistics Reports for the Head of Base and Emergency Flying Logistics Manager, including narratives, supply‑chain follow‑up, stock reports, vehicle fleet costs, equipment inventories, human resources training, donor logistics reports, and incident/accident reporting. Ensure timely donor logistic reports and immediate incident reporting. Archiving – follow Kitlog archiving procedures for supply chain, transportation, equipment, reporting, HR, and any other relevant sectors; maintain transparent, categorized electronic filing and regular backups. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field. At least 2 years of professional experience in similar mid‑management logistics roles, preferably with an international NGO. Experience in emergency response or conflict settings is desirable. Fluent in English and Filipino; knowledge of Bisaya and Maranao is an advantage. Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel; intermediate computer skills in Windows environment. Mobility, readiness to relocate urgently, and good physical and psychological stamina. Commitment to gender equality and inclusion. Remuneration Compensation based on Action Against Hunger grid.
