Overview

Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Learning & Development Officer. The Learning & Development Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and engagement. This role supports organizational growth by fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. The position also involves managing relationships with learning partners – internal and external facilitators – ensuring close collaboration in scheduling walkthroughs of course outlines and content, coordinating actual session runs, providing logistical assistance during sessions, and sharing post-session feedback with facilitators for the continuous improvement of future runs.

What Are The Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Develop and deliver engaging learning programs (e.g., workshops, e-learning, coaching).
  • Customize training content to align with business goals and address training needs of identified participants.
  • Track and report on training completion and facilitator’s effectiveness. Share and discuss results of post-session feedback from participants for continuous improvement of training sessions.
  • Partner with internal and external trainers, vendors, and subject matter experts.
  • Promote learning initiatives across the organization.
  • Ensure training programs meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Maintain records of training and certifications using UR Learning (Learning Management System).
What Are The Qualifications
  • College graduate, any degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Proficiency in using LMS platforms and e-learning tools.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms (e.g. Udemy, Coursera).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder priorities.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with leadership, managers, and employees.
  • Data-driven, with the ability to analyze performance reports and trends and make actionable recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • One (1) full-time position available.
