Learning Needs Administration

  • Ensures TIIC Training Plan accomplishment for the year
  • Prepares and manage TIIC Training and Development Calendar monthly
  • Reviews training request from the different departments and check if is within budget or not prior securing the approval of the Learning and Development Manager and COO.
  • Administers the end to end training process which includes:
  • Marketing the training programs
  • Monitor attendance confirmation and enrolment details needed for the training database
  • Liaise with trainers (both internal or external speaker/trainer/facilitator) prior to training for preparation and planning
  • Set up and maintain the training and office environment
  • Aid the trainer and training participants during the training program
  • Ensure attendance records and workshop evaluations are well maintain and filed for safekeeping and audit purposes.
  • Conducts comeback survey for level 3 Training Effectiveness Evaluation
  • Produce attendance certificates and ensure training agency payment
  • Manage and maintain the TIIC Training Database so that it is an effective reporting and tracking system.
  • Manage all the aspects of the training room bookings, both internal and external training
  • Maintain training kit materials and boxes.
  • Reviews and ensures that all training related requests of employees for internal/external participation are filled up prior endorsement to L & Development Manager for approval.
  • Ensures that all training records of employees are recorded/uploaded in the HRC Training Records Module.
  • Maintains training files and records according to TIIC training and development policy and procedures
  • Attends and supports Organizational Development programs and team activities.
Learning Needs Analysis and Learning Development Plan Implementation
  • Assesses the workforce's current skills and compare with the skills required to meet organization's goals and objectives.
  • Works with departmental heads and develop strategies to improve departmental skills considering immediate and long-term staff requirements.
  • Develops individual training programs that meet the skills gap identified through training needs assessment.
  • Sources or develops training modules based on both the organization and individual needs and other employee development programs
  • Monitors and ensures delivery of the training plan based on the agreed schedule and budget.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the training programs to plan future courses or amend the existing ones to adapt to the changes in the work environment of the organization.
  • Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and present to Learning & Development Manager for approval.
  • Creates, implements and monitors training policies and guidelines
Onboarding Management
  • Conducts New Employee Orientation Program (NEOP) to all new hires
  • Coordinates with Recruitment Team for the onboarding plan and scheduling for new hires
  • Send out a New Employee Notice to all the speakers/facilitators of New Employee Orientation Program (NEOP)
  • Ensure New hire onboarding documentation:
    • Onboarding Plan and Scheduling
    • Attendance Sheet
    • Speakers/facilitators’ evaluation
  • Develops effective orientation and on boarding program for new employees.
HR Records Documentation
  • Custodian of Approved Training Plan for implementation
  • Custodian of Training Attendance
  • Custodian of Training Evaluation
  • Custodian of Annual Training Budget (including Technical Training of all departments)
