Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Learning & Development Officer .
The Learning & Development Officer is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and engagement. This role supports organizational growth by fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
The position also involves managing relationship with learning partners – internal and external facilitators, ensuring close collaboration in scheduling walkthrough of course outline & content, and actual session runs, providing logistical assistance during session as well as sharing/discussing post session feedback with the facilitators for the continuous improvement of future runs.
What Are The Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Develop and deliver engaging learning programs (e.g., workshops, e-learning, coaching).
- Customize training content to align with business goals and to address training needs of identified participants.
- Track and report on training completion and facilitator's effectiveness. Share and discuss results of post-session feedback from participants for continuous improvement (if any) of training sessions.
- Partner with internal and external trainers, vendors, and subject matter experts.
- Promote learning initiatives across the organization.
- Ensure training programs meet regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain records of training and certifications using UR Learning (Learning Management System).
What Are The Qualifications
- College graduate, any degree.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in using LMS platforms and e-learning tools
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms (e.g. Udemy, Coursera)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder priorities.
- Strong facilitation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with leadership, managers, and employees.
- Data-driven, with the ability to analyze performance reports and trends and make actionable recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
