Pre-Sales Solution Architect, Mid-market role at MicroSourcing. Location: Picadilly Star Building, Taguig. Work setup: Onsite | Dayshift. Salary package: PHP 100,000 - PHP 150,000. This is a customer-facing role designed to design, price, and deliver ICT solutions for mid-market B2B customers, bridging technical expertise and business acumen to ensure solutions align with customer needs and approved architectures.
What You'll Do Customer Engagement & Solution Design- Engage with mid-market customers to understand their business drivers, technical environments, and strategic goals.
- Translate requirements into scalable, standardized solutions across one or more technology towers.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and presentations to articulate solution value and alignment with customer needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Consulting Architects, Account Teams) to co-develop solution overviews and business cases.
- Apply sales methodology to shape compelling customer value propositions (CVPs) and ROI narratives.
- Design and price solutions using approved architectures and pricing models; ensure alignment with company standards and governance.
- Develop detailed solution documentation including technical workbooks, solution overviews, and quotes for assigned sales channels.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the pre-sales lifecycle, including support during delivery handover and implementation planning.
- Maintain deep domain expertise in ICT technologies and stay updated on emerging trends and competitor offerings.
- Become a subject matter expert and “super user” of internal quoting and design tools.
- Ensure accurate use of CRM and SNOW systems for opportunity tracking, documentation, and governance compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of solution design processes and templates.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Sales, Product, Delivery, Commercial, and Vendor teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, influencing solution strategy and customer engagement.
- Participate in account planning and strategy development to support long-term customer growth and retention.
- Engage with technology vendors to explore and integrate innovative solutions into customer proposals.
- Identify opportunities to enhance solution offerings and contribute to the development of new service capabilities.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer insights and market trends.
- Support the achievement of sales targets and KPIs including revenue, TCV, and opportunity win rates.
- Drive customer satisfaction through high-quality solution design and technical engagement.
- Contribute to formal win/loss reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the technical enablement of the Manila-based startup team by sharing best practices, solution design methodologies, and tool usage.
- Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and mentoring to uplift team capability.
- Collaborate with team members to build reusable assets, templates, and documentation to accelerate solution development.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across the team through documentation, workshops, and peer reviews.
- 3-5 years of experience in ICT solution design or architecture roles
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Engineering / ECE, or equivalent industry certifications
- Knowledge of network, carriage, and security technology
- Proven experience in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles
- Strong consulting, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to operate in a matrixed environment and manage competing priorities
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Adaptability and continuous learning orientation
- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and collaborate across diverse teams
- Experience mentoring or coaching peers or junior team members / new hires
- Proven ability to take initiative and drive strategic improvements
- Interest in developing leadership capabilities and contributing to team culture and direction
- Certifications in relevant technology domains (e.g., CCNP, CISSP)
- Experience with change management and service management frameworks
- Familiarity with sales methodologies
- Exposure to contract, risk, and commercial management
