A Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) Manager is a strategic leader responsible for ensuring the workforce has the skills, knowledge, and structure necessary to meet business objectives, manage risk, and drive growth. As L&OD Manager, you will also be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing technical training programs and the Management Trainee Program. This role focuses on fostering employee growth, enhancing organizational capabilities, and ensuring alignment with Malayan Insurance’s strategic goals. The role involves cultivating a culture of continuous learning and leadership development. This role moves beyond just delivering training; it focuses on holistic organizational effectiveness, culture, and talent strategy, specifically tailored to the unique demands of the insurance industry. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI) 1. Technical Training Programs: Training Completion Rate: Percentage of employees who complete assigned technical training programs. Knowledge Retention Rate: Measured through post-training assessments to evaluate effectiveness of the training. Employee Performance Improvement: Improvement in job performance metrics after training completion. 2. Management Trainee Program: Trainee Retention Rate: Percentage of trainees who successfully complete the program and remain with the organization. Promotion Rate: Percentage of trainees promoted to leadership roles within a specified timeframe. Program Satisfaction Score: Feedback from trainees and mentors on quality and impact of the program. 3. Organizational Development Initiatives: Employee Engagement Score: Improvement in engagement levels as measured by surveys. Skill Gap Reduction: Percentage reduction in identified skill gaps across departments 4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Satisfaction Score: Feedback from department heads and leadership on the effectiveness of the training and OD support. 5. Metrics and Reporting: Data Accuracy and Timeliness: Regular and accurate reporting of training and OD metrics. We're looking for candidates with: Minimum 3 years of learning and development experience gained from nonlife insurance industry Proven track record in organizational development initiatives Experience in managing training initiatives and organizational development projects. Skilled in analyzing training and development metrics, generating insights, and providing actionable recommendations. Required skills and competencies Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms Strong analytical skills with experience in training metrics and ROI measurement Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance requirements Ability to create engaging and impactful training materials, including curriculum development, content creation, and delivery methods. #J-18808-Ljbffr
