Role Description This is a contract on-site role for a Korean or Japanese IT Desk Support position located in Taguig. The IT Desk Support professional will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, managing network security, and ensuring smooth network operations. The specialist will also handle customer service inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions to technical problems. Qualifications Strong Network Administration and Information Technology skills Effective Troubleshooting and Network Security skills Exceptional Customer Service skills Proficiency in Korean or Japanese and English languages Experience in IT Desk Support or a similar role is preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is advantageous Job Description Job Title: Mandarin or Korean or Japanese Cisco L1 Service Desk Support Candidates should be in Philippines Exp: 3-4yrs Work From Office Location: 1634 Taguig Metro Manila Fluent in Mandarin/ Korean/ Japanese (Language Skills) Three to four (3-4) years’ experience providing IT Infrastructure field support which includes troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues and problems and fixing the issues without impacting / violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements. Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration. Skilled in desk side support and PC break/fix including basic administration of Windows O/S and MAC OS. Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Messaging, User Profile Administration including Remote Troubleshooting, Installation and Uninstallation of applications etc. is a must. Should have worked as a Technical Support Executive / System or Network Administrator & acquired hands-on experience in the above areas in large & complex setups. Knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows X (i.e. Win10, Win7) Experience with using and troubleshooting Outlook within a network environment (permissions, calendar sharing, delegation, Windows laptop & Mac books, Desktop, MFD, Mobile & Tablets) Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Good written and oral communications skills with clients and management as well as people skills. Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on-time. MCP and ITIL certification would be desirable but not mandatory Knowledge and experience of ticketing tools ( ServiceNow / Remedy etc.) Non-Technical: Good in oral and written communication; able to interact with customers at different levels; self-driven and result oriented; passionate about the work; local language knowledge is preferred; fluent in Mandarin/ Korean/ Japanese; studied/worked in South Korea is a plus; read & write in English.
