Job Brief

Operations Managers play a key role in the day-to-day operations of an organization, managing and coordinating activities that are directly related to the production of goods and services. They have a wide array of responsibilities to ensure that business operations are efficient in terms of using as few resources as needed, and effective in terms of meeting customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing business strategies and procedures to promote the company's overall performance.
  • Setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Overseeing daily operations of the company and the work of executives in various departments such as IT, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
  • Lead and encourage employees to maximize performance and dedication.
  • Evaluating and improving operations and financial performance.
  • Managing relationships with partners and vendors.
  • Preparing and implementing comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement of goals.
  • Assessing and managing risk to the company.
  • Ensuring all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Identifying and addressing problems and opportunities for the company.
  • Supporting worker communication with the management team.
Requirements and skills
  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
