Job DescriptionThe HR Manager will oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources for a group of upscale restaurants. The role is responsible for strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, organizational development, and compliance with labor laws.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and restaurant operations; partner with management to identify manpower needs and workforce planning; create policies and programs to support organizational culture, retention, and employee engagement.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Lead recruitment efforts for restaurant-level and management positions, ensuring candidates match the upscale service standards; implement training and development programs for staff and leaders, focusing on service excellence and career growth.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Build strong employee relations and act as a mediator for conflict resolution; foster a positive workplace culture; oversee payroll, benefits, and rewards systems in coordination with Finance; ensure competitive compensation packages and benchmark against industry standards; review and benchmark compensation.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government regulations; develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures; maintain accurate employee records and HR reports.
- Performance Management: Drive the performance appraisal system and provide guidance to managers; monitor and evaluate employee performance; provide coaching and development as needed; address underperformance fairly and legally.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or head role in the F&B / hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills; ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution; high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
- Flexible and adaptable, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From Php60,000.00 per month
