Context
The Bids and Proposals Specialist is expected to conduct research & data gathering proposals for public and private clients and prepare bid documents to address public sector requirements. Prepare other documents required to by the Client, whether from the public or private sector (e.g. power point presentations, corporate profile, project profiles, etc.).
Missions/Main Duties
Key Activities

  • Research and Data Gathering for information required for the preparation of proposals;
  • Coordination with Experts and Specialist required for the delivery of Client requirements;
  • Preparing corporate profiles/ write ups and presentations to address Client requirements; and
  • Providing necessary assistance in the packaging/ preparation of bid/ proposal requirements.

Qualifications / Skills And Knowledge Requirements
  • Writing skills (resourceful and methodical);
  • Capable of conducting own research and data gathering;
  • People skills – liaising with experts, third parties (Clients);
  • Capable of working under pressure;
  • Capable to learn/ open-minded; and
  • Organizational skills.
Educational Requirements
  • Graduate of Economics, any Engineering course; Mass Communications or Business Administration;
  • Training in Project Management would be an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Fluency in English (both in writing and speaking) required; and
  • Three (3) years of experience in research.
