The Data Center Design Engineer plays a vital role in developing solution architectures that address client business objectives. This role requires close collaboration with clients and internal teams to transform requirements into practical technical solutions, while also providing pre-sales support by delivering expert guidance and assisting account managers in creating impactful proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients and stakeholders to gather and assess technical and business requirements.
  • Design and document solution architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical advisory support to clients and sales teams.
  • Facilitate scoping sessions to evaluate requirements and project needs.
  • Develop technical deliverables such as BOMs, HLDs, SOWs, and related documentation.
  • Prepare technical bid proposals, including annexes, compliance sheets, and supporting documents.
  • Present solution designs, proposals, and product portfolios to clients.
  • Conduct PoC demonstrations to validate solutions.
  • Perform technical site surveys as part of the solution design process.
  • Stay updated with certifications, trainings, and industry developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of pre-sales experience in Cisco or equivalent IT vendor environment.
  • Must hold at least one certification in:
  • Networking – Cisco (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE)
  • Security – Fortinet, Checkpoint, Trend Micro, CompTIA, ISC²
  • Data Center – VMware, Nutanix, Dell, HP
  • Cloud – Microsoft Azure, AWS
  • Strong English communication and presentation skills.
