ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST

Join our finance team as an Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial transactions related to payments and collections. This position involves processing, recording, and reconciling invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and fostering strong customer relationships.

The main responsibilities include:

Accounts Receivable Management:
  • Generate and send invoices to customers
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delays
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments
  • Record donations and issue receipts
  • Engage with donors regarding receipts and adjustments
  • Reconcile donor receipts with internal reports and bank transactions
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger
  • Prepare and present receivable reports to management
  • Resolve discrepancies related to receivables
Accounts Payable Management:
  • Process and record invoices
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments
  • Manage the accounts payable ledger
  • Resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and present payable reports
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
  • Prepare financial reports for management
  • Collaborate for accurate reporting
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • Assist with audits and reviews

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years in accounting or finance, with experience in AR and AP preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Xero software
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and accurate
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred knowledge:

  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle
  • Skills in data analysis and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of electronic banking procedures

Pre-employment requirements include:

  • Valid NBI Clearance
  • Medical or PEME slip (covered by KMC)
  • Recent ID photos
  • Government IDs (TIN, SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth)
  • Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO)
  • Completed HR forms and Promissory Note
