Job Title Staff / Junior Accountant - AP Clerk Assistant Job Description We are seeking a Staff / Junior Accountant (AP Clerk Assistant) based in the Philippines to support our U.S.-based accounting team. This role focuses on assisting with Accounts Payable functions, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment support. This is a night‑shift position aligned with U.S. business hours. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process vendor invoices with accuracy and proper coding Support the AP team in obtaining approvals and preparing weekly payment runs Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies or missing documentation Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and supporting documents Assist in managing credit card transactions and expense reimbursements Respond to vendor inquiries and assist in resolving payment‑related issues Perform basic reconciliations and assist in preparing month‑end accruals Support the accounting team during audits by gathering and organizing documentation Participate in ad hoc accounting projects or reporting tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2‑3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required Experience with QuickBooks, Ramp, and/or NetSuite is a strong plus Previous experience supporting U.S.-based teams or working night shifts is an advantage Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time management skills Good written and verbal communication skills Dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to meeting deadlines Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industry Staffing and Recruiting Location Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Salary $7,200.00 - $7,800.00 per month #J-18808-Ljbffr
