Overview We are seeking a Formulation Specialist / R&D Officer to lead the development and improvement of product formulations in the FMCG or non-food industry , based in Manila . This role is responsible for researching ingredients, testing formulations, ensuring product stability and compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept to commercialization. Responsibilities Develop and optimize formulations for new and existing products based on performance, cost, and regulatory requirements. Conduct laboratory testing, stability studies, and sensory evaluations. Source and evaluate raw materials in coordination with the purchasing and QA teams. Work closely with marketing, production, and QA teams to align product specs and timelines. Document all R&D procedures and maintain technical data sheets and formulation records. Ensure compliance with local and international product safety and labeling standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields. At least 2–4 years of experience in product formulation and R&D (preferably in cosmetics, personal care, home care, or food). Strong knowledge of raw materials, formulation chemistry, and regulatory standards. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and project coordination skills.
