Job Title: Food Product Development Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop new food products based on company objectives, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Improve existing products by enhancing flavor, texture, cost efficiency, and overall quality.
  • Conduct trial formulations, taste tests, and product evaluations to ensure product consistency and desirability.
  • Document all recipes, formulations, and procedures clearly for standard production.
  • Work closely with the kitchen/production team to ensure accurate implementation of product specifications.
  • Source new ingredients and evaluate suppliers for quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Monitor shelf-life, product stability, and safety of all developed products.
  • Conduct research on food trends, competitive products, and emerging ingredients.
  • Ensure all developed products comply with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit product development reports and evaluations for management review.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Biology, Culinary Management, or related field.
  • With or without experience (training will be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and good sensory evaluation skills (taste, smell, texture).
  • Creative, innovative, and passionate about food development.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with production teams.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
