The SolarWinds ASEAN team is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to spearhead growth in the assigned territory. The role involves identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities while enhancing the existing customer base through upgrades. The successful candidate will execute a strategic sales plan, collaborating with System Integrators, Alliance Partners, and Channel Partners, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage enterprise accounts within the assigned territory.
- Generate leads, build relationships with prospective customers, profile accounts, and convert prospects into revenue-generating clients.
- Execute daily activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and selling SolarWinds products to assigned territory customers.
- Collaborate with SI Alliance Partners, Channel Partners, and Channel Managers to promote SolarWinds solution sales.
- Engage in field activities within the territory, including on-site meetings and live events.
- Manage the sales pipeline and provide weekly forecast updates.
- Provide business information for decision-making and control.
- Assist in developing existing accounts and generating new opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, up-sell, and foster customer relationships.
- Provide sales tracking and reporting using Salesforce.
- Analyze data to formulate and execute account strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of direct enterprise software sales experience in the assigned territory.
- Technical acumen with the ability to relate it to business value.
- Proven track record of sales performance.
- Experience and credibility in selling at the C level.
- Ability to forecast and manage sales expenses.
- Strong intellect and capacity to multitask.
- Excellent qualifying and closing skills.
- Business development, prospecting skills, and the ability to build strong partner relationships.

Job Responsibilities:
- To do daily sales call as per requirement of the Management and/or Sales Manager.
- Secure prospective accounts and maintain existing accounts
- Attend to agents inquiry in terms of client visit requirements
- Attend to all sales activities as mandated and instructed by the Management and/or Sales Manager
- Secure accounts for all service type such as, Export, import, Brokerage, Trucking, Warehousing etc.
- Coordinate and update with Customer Service for the current net rates (airfreight, ocean freight, trucking etc.)
- Submit proposal to prospect and existing customers on/or before the required deadline and secure client approval prior to booking acceptance
- Timely update clients for all shipment status
- Provide accepted quotation of customers to Accounting for their billing procedures.
- Timely update the quotation for any changes or amendments
- Generate and update client profile data for any changes and amendments
- Generate and submit reports such as, Sales Progress Report, Weekly Itinerary, Production Report, etc. on/or before the required deadline.
- Submit monthly list of prospective accounts for approaching every 1st week of each month.
- Monitor and timely respond to email inquiry of customers, agents and management as maybe required.
- Coordinate with Customer Service any special instructions of customers for cargo handling and delivery.
- Attend to telephone call or SMS inquiry of the customers, agents and management at all times.
- Assists on the follow-up of collection from customers as required by Management and Accounting Department.
What We're Looking For:
Preferably with 1–2 years experience in logistics or related industry
Knowledge in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and general logistics services
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills
Goal-driven and results-oriented
Fresh graduates with strong interest in sales and logistics are welcome to apply
Experience: Logistics: 1 year (Required), Sales: 1 year (Required), Freight Forwarding: 1 year (Preferred)
