As an Event Specialist, you are responsible for coming up with innovative events for our organization. You are also required for building and maintaining healthy business relations and expanding brand awareness. In addition to this, the duties of an Event Specialist also includes: Implementing creative event themes, Overseeing staff working during the event Preparing invoices and follow up payment Preparing contract requirements and following up contract completion Collaborating with the social media team for marketing efforts To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or a similar field. Past work experience working as an Event Specialist will be an added advantage to this position. You should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and be an amazing team member. You should be able to build an extraordinary image for our organization and provide amazing brand awareness to our business. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Organize promotional events for the company Execute creative themes and concepts Plan and coordinate events as per the schedule Manage event budgets efficiently Arrange event security as and when required Process incoming and outgoing invoices Interact with prospective clients effectively Arrange food and beverages at the event venue Maintain stock levels for various event necessities and restock as and when required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or a similar field Work experience as an Event Specialist, Event Manager, or a similar role in the Hospitality A proven record in organizing events is an advantage Basic knowledge in handling social media accounts Amazing ability to multitask Ability to work for long hours Experience in managing resources as well as budget efficiently Great verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Quick decision-making abilities Strong work ethic Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Design Industries: Entertainment Providers #J-18808-Ljbffr
