Job Summary We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive growth in our Foodservice & Bakery segments. This role involves end-to-end sourcing and trading, principal/supplier management, product documentation and testing, providing technical sales support, and conducting market intelligence to identify new opportunities and ensure the company stays ahead of competition. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Sourcing & Trading: Identify demand through sales needs, trends, or new products from suppliers. Hunt for new suppliers & principals. Coordinate testing and sampling. Monitor shipments from source to warehouse. Work closely with Supply Chain on purchase requests, forecasts, and inventory. Principals / Supplier Management: Accredit suppliers and products (internal and with government bodies). Build and maintain exclusivity with principals. Monitor and assure continuity of projects. Documentation, Testing & Development: Create, maintain, and update the traded database. Review technical documents from principals. Conduct in-house testing and qualification for new products (with Product Design/R&D). Create evidence-based materials, presentations, and technical sheets. Technical Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to introduce new products to industrial and bakery clients. Serve as the point person for client R&D and Product Development teams' queries and technical support. Conduct research and testing to fit products with client needs (modifications, tweaking, re-classification). Market Intelligence & Study Assist the Business Development Manager in monitoring innovation funnel projects. Conduct feasibility studies (Market & Industry Analysis, Product & Technology Analysis, Legal & Regulatory Check). Regularly research trends, new product launches, and new technology. Analyze data and trends to maintain competitive advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
