Job Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor with advanced expertise in BIR regulations and Philippine taxation. The successful candidate will oversee the accounting team, ensure compliance with tax laws, and manage accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
  • Ensure accurate preparation and timely filing of all BIR tax returns (e.g., VAT, EWT, ITR, 1601-E/C/Q, 2550M/Q, 1702, etc.)
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Monitor compliance with government regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance on complex tax matters, exemptions, and compliance strategies
  • Coordinate tax audits and respond to BIR queries and assessments
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Assist in forecasting and financial analysis
  • Train and mentor accounting staff to ensure competence in tax and accounting procedures
