About the role

The Pacific Meat Company Incorporated is seeking a talented and experienced Cost Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Binan City Laguna. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the cost accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to support the company's strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the cost accounting processes, including the analysis and reporting of production costs, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
  • Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of inventory records, ensuring tight controls and accurate reporting
  • Prepare and present detailed cost and inventory reports to management, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements
  • Collaborate with the production and finance teams to optimize inventory levels and control costs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the accounting team

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting qualification (CPA or ACCA) is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a cost accounting supervisory role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
  • Proficient in the use of cost accounting software and data analysis tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
