About the Role

As a Credit Appraiser, you will perform property appraisal of proposed and existing collateral / security offered by the client including Bank owned real estate as well as foreclosed property. Responsible for the timely preparation and submission of appraisal reports on properties offered as collateral such as real estate and vehicle including those intended for SBC officer housing/car plan financing, merchandise inventory, machineries and equipment for marketing and subsidiaries as well as ROPA and other Bank-owned properties. The appraisal will aide the marketing and approving body in granting credit by determining its collateral value for disposal or selling purposes.

How you'll contribute
  • Pre-screen the assigned account and the corresponding documents i.e. title, tax declaration, building plan, vicinity map.
  • Coordinates with marketing and client for the assigned tasks i.e. missing or blurred documents and to schedule inspection.
  • Conducts actual property inspection to check the exact location of the property, do actual measurement of land and improvement (if necessary)
  • Take pictures of the property being appraised during ocular inspection.
  • Prepare vicinity map and lay-out plan as well as the floor plan.
  • Conducts research and surveys of property being offered for sale for comparative analysis of land value.
  • Prepare draft report in the appraisal system.
  • Apply three approaches to value i.e. market data/sales comparison, cost approach or income approach.
  • Perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
What we’re looking for
  • Must have a bachelor's/college degree in Civil Engineering or Real Estate Management Major in Property Appraisal
  • With at least 2 years of experience in Appraisal
  • Experience in credit (evaluation/appraisal), banking, construction/engineering, or external appraisal firm is a plus.
