Role Overview

As a Virtual Assistant, you’ll work directly with the Head of PR to gather data that fuels outreach and media campaigns. Your research will help identify journalists, influencers, and media outlets, as well as support the development of compelling PR angles. You’ll be responsible for organizing information, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to the success of high-impact digital strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and compile lists of journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media outlets
• Gather data from websites, social platforms, and third-party tools
• Scrape information from search engines and databases
• Identify relevant statistics and supporting evidence for PR campaigns
• Assist with ad-hoc research tasks such as trend analysis and contact verification
• Maintain organized records and deliver clean, accurate data to the PR team

Required Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in virtual assistance, research, or data entry
• Basic familiarity with data scraping tools or techniques
• Experience with media list building or journalist databases
• Strong written and spoken English
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and web-based tools
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Clear communication skills and ability to follow direction
• Ability to distinguish between blogs, news sites, and commercial platforms
• Job Type: Full-Time Contractor
• Expected Hours: 35 hours/week (Monday to Friday, 7 hours/day)
• Pay: Up to $5/hour
• Location: Fully Remote (Philippines only)
• Training: 2 weeks onboarding with Head of PR
• Exclusivity: Must work solely for Marketing Signals during contracted hours
