Senior Human Resource Recruiter @ Ditrolic Energy | Final Year MBA About the Company The Business Development Manager (Utility Scale) required to support Company’s Utility Scale Renewable Development business. Reporting directly to Group CEO and Executive Director, this position is required to manage the process of project acquisition, assess & formalize development, eventually commercial operation process. About the Role This role involves identifying, evaluating, developing, and executing land acquisition opportunities that support the business objectives of the Utility Scale Renewables Business, i.e. Solar, Wind and Storage by applying a combination of technical, project, and risk management knowledge. Responsibilities To identify, evaluate, develop and execute on the land acquisition opportunities. Arranging permitting for solar project. To evaluate financial models, prepare project development plans and implement such plans, including resource assessments, development studies, landowner relationships/agreements etc. To maintain a healthy pipeline of development projects by expanding or maintaining existing company relationships with existing partners and contacts. To report developmental pipeline progress, timely responses to bids, and manage internal and external resources for preliminary evaluation of development opportunities. Conducting fatal flaw analyses, asset valuations, due diligence, and negotiate contracts for acquisition of renewable energy assets/developments. Ensure that grid connection requirements are assessed and studied to ensure Power Plant Grid connectivity. Support grid team with network connection applications and agreements including interfacing with utilities. To oversee development activities for developing renewable assets into design and construction until commercial operation. To develop relationships and be the key liaison person with authorities, regulators, utilities, local/regional developers, contractors, consultants, and advisors. To lead the due diligence process/PPA/Contract/MOU discussion and management. Qualifications Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in any field, preferably Finance or Engineering. At least 5-years’ experience in Business Development including financial analysis, sales, negotiation. Knowledge of solar/solar LSS industry, real estate/housing developer. Strong understanding of the typical bid requirements for the renewable energy industry. Experience in managing due diligence and evaluation of renewable energy development opportunities. Experience in proposal writing and utility-scale power plant project development and execution. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to travel 50% - 75%. Required Skills Strong understanding of the typical bid requirements for the renewable energy industry.
