TALENTMATE Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Payroll Specialist Join to apply for the PAYROLL SPECIALIST role at TALENTMATE Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Payroll Specialist to support our Philippines payroll operations end-to-end within a Shared Services environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while delivering an excellent payroll experience. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Philippine employees, including payroll validation, reconciliation, off cycle runs, and final pay. Handle timekeeping records, employee deductions, allowances, government-mandated benefits, and payroll adjustments. Ensure full compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE standards, BIR regulations, and government statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG). Prepare and submit required statutory reports such as BIR 2316/1601C, Alpha List, SSS R3/R5, PhilHealth RF1, and Pag-IBIG MCRF. Maintain accurate payroll data and work closely with HR and Finance on payroll cutoffs, variances, audits, and reconciliations. Respond to employee payroll concerns in a professional, clear, and empathetic manner. Support process improvement and standardization initiatives within the shared services team. Protect payroll confidentiality and ensure compliance with internal controls and data privacy requirements. Generate payroll reports and analytics for business insights and decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 2–5 years of experience in Philippine payroll processing. Prior exposure to end-to-end manual payroll processing is an advantage. Experience in Shared Services, AEC, or multinational environments preferred. Working knowledge of Philippine payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory compliance. Experience with payroll tools such as Workday and Deltek Vision is a plus. Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables). High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
