We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payroll processing, annualization, government loan payments, posting, and a strong understanding of payroll systems. As a Payroll Specialist, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, manage government loan deductions, and contribute to the efficiency of our payroll systems. Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing: Process and manage end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries. Ensure that all necessary deductions (taxes and benefits) are calculated correctly and reflected in each payroll cycle. Prepare payroll reports, including earnings, taxes, deductions, and adjustments. Annualization and Tax Calculations: Perform annualization calculations to ensure employees' total annual income is correctly accounted for. Prepare year-end payroll reports and assist in the preparation of tax filings and other statutory compliance documents. Government Loan Payments and Posting: Manage the posting and payment of government loans (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth) for employees. Ensure timely remittance of government loan contributions, deductions, and loan repayments. Post government loan payments accurately in the payroll system and maintain proper records for auditing purposes. Payroll System Management: Manage and maintain the payroll system, ensuring that all data is accurately entered and updated. Provide support in system upgrades, testing, and integrations, ensuring the payroll software meets the company's needs. Final Pay Computation: Calculate final pay for employees who are resigning or retiring. Ensure the accurate inclusion of all applicable entitlements, such as unused leaves, and other final compensation. Ensure the proper deductions are made (loans, tax) and verify that the final pay complies with company policies and labor laws. Compliance and Record Keeping: Stay updated on local payroll regulations to ensure the company's compliance with labor laws. Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and ensure data security and confidentiality. Employee Support: Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide clarification on deductions, benefits, taxes, and loan payments. Collaborate with HR and other departments to resolve any payroll-related issues promptly. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role. Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software. Knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations, government loans (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth), and benefits administration. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Additional Skills (Preferred) Experience with payroll system implementation or upgrades. Experience in annualization and end-of-year payroll processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
