Procurement Assistant is responsible for assisting the department in ensuring that the company has a constant supply of items and services needed. Manages and maintains receiving reports, acceptance forms, purchase and payment records, supplier database, and files procurement reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares Purchase Orders for non-critical items and buys over-the-counter supplies as needed.
  • Assists in supplier sourcing, due diligence, accreditation, and evaluation.
  • Handles department purchase requests, routes approvals, and monitors deliveries.
  • Documents petty cash expenses, processes replenishments, and compiles invoices and receipts.
  • Maintains procurement records, including receiving reports, payment schedules, and original documents.
  • Prepares and sends weekly procurement updates and reports.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Business Administration or any related course.
  • With at least 1-2 years of experience in procurement administration.
  • With strong negotiation skills and have the ability to source suppliers and maintain productive supplier relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and procurement records accurately.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Can start immediately.
