Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Network Planning and Design - Design, configure, and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, IP phones, UPS and cabling.
  • Installation and Configuration - Assist in the installation, configuration, and regular maintenance of network hardware and software.
  • Network Monitoring - Maintain 99.99% uptime of network and all critical equipment. Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and resolve issues such as bandwidth bottlenecks, network latency, or packet loss.
  • Maintenance and Upgrades - Performs regular patching to address vulnerabilities and ensure that network hardware firmware is up to date. Liaises with internet service provider should there be any issues and notifies end users of outages and/or maintenance schedule.
  • Collaboration - Manages and fulfills escalated IT Helpdesk tickets. Provide support to end-users, helping them with server-related issues and responding to their requests.
  • Documentation - Documents the configuration of assigned infrastructure components, and keeps such documentation updated and secure. Keep track of network equipment and check compliance with standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any IT-related courses
  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Network Administrator
