Job description:
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies covering talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations (including union relations and CBA administration), compensation & benefits, learning & development, and HR technology.
Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, implement robust performance management systems, and drive learning and development initiatives to build a high-performing workforce.
Employee & Labor Relations: Foster positive employee relations and manage all aspects of union relations, including CBA negotiation, interpretation, and grievance handling. Ensure fair and consistent application of HR policies and disciplinary procedures.
Compensation, Benefits & HR Systems: Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs. Oversee HRIS and technology platforms to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
Legal Compliance & Policy Development: Ensure all HR practices comply with Philippine labor laws and the CBA. Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.
Organizational Development: Lead and support organizational change initiatives, identify development needs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
HR Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, ensuring they possess the expertise to support the organization effectively, particularly in managing union relations and CBA administration.
Critical Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR leadership/management role.
Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Demonstrable experience in employee relations, particularly in a unionized environment, including CBA negotiation and administration.
Strong background in talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits management, and policy development.
In-depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
Experience interacting with and advising senior management.

Change Management & Organizational Development: Experience in diagnosing organizational needs, implementing interventions, leading and supporting organizational change initiatives; ability to foster a strong and positive company culture

Empathy & Interpersonal Sensitivity: Ability to understand and relate to a diverse workforce.

Organizational Skills & Attention to Detail
Highly Desirable:
Prior HR experience in the manufacturing sector (ideally steel or heavy industry).
Experience managing HR across multiple operational sites.
Proficiency in utilizing HRIS and other technology platforms
