About the RoleWe’re looking for a strategic and people-focused Regional Talent Acquisition Director to lead our Asia Pacific team—covering countries from India to New Zealand. With a team of 36 professionals across the region (with key hubs in Chennai, India and Manila, Philippines), you’ll drive hiring excellence, align with global processes, and ensure we attract the right talent to support Vestas’ growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, develop, and empower a diverse team of recruiters, sourcers, Talent Acquisition Partners, and onboarding coordinators across multiple countries.
- Collaborate closely with 4–5 Talent Acquisition Partners to deliver on hiring goals and fill critical roles with speed and precision.
- Ensure regional alignment with global People & Culture strategies, tools, and processes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering insights and solutions to complex talent challenges.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, candidate experience, and stakeholder engagement through data-driven insights.
- Navigate a matrixed, international organization with confidence and clarity.
- Build strong partnerships across People & Culture and business functions to support workforce planning and talent strategy.
- Champion cross-cultural leadership, fostering inclusion and collaboration across diverse markets and teams.
- Proven experience leading regional or multi-country TA teams in a global, matrixed organization.
- Strong cross-cultural leadership skills and the ability to build trust across geographies and cultures.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills—able to influence and collaborate at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Deep understanding of talent markets across Asia Pacific.
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
