Job Purpose : The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing the key accounts in his/her assigned territory

  • Prepares Business Plan
  • Conducts Store Check/Visit
  • negotiates and Secures Business Plan
  • Executes and evaluates Approved Promotions
  • Countering, Collects and reconciles AR and HD’s
  • Maintains records and reports (Discussion Sheet, Trade Letters, Daily Activity Report, Trade Check Report, Expense Report, Monthly Coverage Plan)
  • Executes Merchandising Standards through coordination with Support Groups (Trade Marketing) and Third Party Agency
  • Timely submission of required reports (Weekly Sales Update, Submission of Post-Promo Evaluation 45-Days upon activity completion, Weekly Expense Report, Monthly Business Update, Daily Activity Report, Trade Check Report, Monthly Coverage Plan)
Job Skills and Accountabilities
  • Commercial/Trade awareness – must be aware on trade situations and policies
  • Teamwork skills – communication, conflict resolution, decision-making, influencing skills
  • Collecting data, performing analyses and arriving at conclusions. Includes data mining, data and metrics interpreting, reporting
  • Flexibility
  • Attainment of Sales Objectives (Monthly Sales Target, Growth)
  • Compliance to distribution & merchandising standards
  • Management of AR among customers in his area of responsibility
  • Inventory Management
  • PWP (Promo Work Plan) Management
Job Requirements
  • Graduate of any 4-year course preferably major in Management, Marketing, or other related fields
  • At least two (2) years of work experience in Sales or Account Management in the FMCG industry
