Key Responsibilities

As an Application Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for IT support, ensuring colleagues receive timely and effective solutions. Your tasks will include:

  • Responding to help desk tickets and email inquiries, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Supporting user onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Identifying, prioritising, and resolving user issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
  • Providing guidance on application and hardware issues, including Microsoft Office 365, laptops, mobile phones, and printers.
  • Tracking and documenting issues in the ticketing system.
  • Liaising with product and development teams on bugs, escalations, and system improvements.
  • Following up with users to confirm timely resolution of issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • Educated to degree level (IT-related background an advantage, though not essential).
  • Prior IT support experience preferred, but training will be provided .
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or Bullhorn is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • A genuine satisfaction in helping people and solving problems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while remaining a strong team player.
  • Customer service or help desk experience (2+ years preferred).
  • Willingness to occasionally travel if required.
  • Disciplined and proactive in managing tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable supporting colleagues with limited IT knowledge.
  • Willing to invest in continuous learning to grow your expertise.
