Overview FinOps Manager - AR HealthCare, HealthCare at Amazon. The Finance Operations organization provides operations accounting and operations excellence services with high-level control and cost efficiency. We support paying suppliers, invoicing customers, and reporting financial results. Amazon is building Healthcare Finance Operations Services for the healthcare industry. As part of the Healthcare Finance Operations Services team, you will work with talented professionals committed to driving financial improvement, scalability, and process excellence. The role emphasizes accountability, high standards, and collaboration to design data-driven programs that optimize reimbursement and revenue in shared services, with deep knowledge of the healthcare industry or a willingness to learn. Responsibilities Lead a team that proactively reaches out to patients with open balances and assists them with payment options Partner with admin team on member billing needs via 1Life’s tasking system to provide the best customer service Educate admins and patients to better understand health insurance benefits through open balances Serve as an escalation point for complex patient inquiries on billing Act as SME for claims investigation through insurance to ensure alignment with patient benefit plans via internal tools Reach out to patients when bill payments cannot be processed (e.g., bounced checks, declined cards) and offer resolution options Support One Medical through processes that empower patients to resolve financial responsibilities Review and reconcile patient and insurance balances for accuracy Manage the member statement process to ensure bills are sent efficiently and accurately Maintain team service level agreements in response times to admins and patients Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare RCM-related field Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible revenue cycle management with strong Medicare knowledge Financial management skills including data analysis for operations, auditing, and forecasting; basic accounting, staffing, and financial reporting Experience leading cross-organizational discussions with a matrixed team of stakeholders Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills at the executive level Proven track record of ownership and driving results Strong bias for action and ability to work iteratively Excellent attention to detail and process improvement Preferred Qualifications Multi-state, federal, and jurisdictional payor and reimbursement experience Project management experience Global process management across multiple time zones Solid analytical skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure Strong critical thinking and ability to challenge normal operations HIPAA guidelines training Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
