Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and customer service? We are looking for a Home-Based Accounts Clerk to support our U.S.-based client in managing billing and collections with precision and professionalism. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring timely payments, accurate records, and clear communication with vendors and customers. If you're organized, analytical, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced finance team, this role is for you.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:

  • Enter information received from prospective clients and process credit applications through appropriate agencies.

  • Request and process prepayments on sales orders.

  • Follow up on delinquent accounts for customers with outstanding balances or new orders.

  • Apply check or credit card prepayments to the appropriate accounts.

  • Verify and resolve account discrepancies by obtaining and reviewing information from customer care and customers.

  • Research and process credit memos and adjustments.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer communications and collections activities.

  • Assist in monthly closing and AR-related reporting tasks

Accounts Payable Duties:

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Resolve discrepancies between vendor bills and payments by collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

  • Verify terms, payment methods, and compliance with company policies.

  • Maintain vendor records, ensuring all information is up to date.

  • Respond to vendor inquiries and provide solutions as needed.

  • Perform other accounting duties related to accounts payable as assigned.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in an office or accounting role with a focus on accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Schedule: Able to work overnight/graveyard shifts in PH time or U.S. business hours

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    • Ability to work independently and follow directions effectively.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

    • Strong interpersonal skills to work well with internal teams, vendors, and customers.

  • Salary Range: PHP 35,000 – 40,000

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (USA)

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
