Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with sales goals and company objectives.
  • Analyze retail distribution data, market trends, and consumer behavior to make informed decisions.
  • Monitor and forecast product demand to optimize inventory levels and prevent overstock or stockouts.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to plan promotions, product launches, and in-store displays.
  • Create and manage pricing strategies that are competitive and aligned with profitability targets.
  • Oversee product placement in stores and ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities and market changes to adjust merchandising plans proactively.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to manage product flow and availability.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory status, and merchandising effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in retail merchandising, planning, or buying.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and retail inventory management systems.
  • Must be equipped with a personal laptop/device for work.
  • Can start ASAP.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, startup environment with a hands-on approach.
  • Practical, resourceful, and solution-oriented – no task is too small or too big.
