Overview Job Summary: As the Merchandise Manager for our Fashion & Apparel client, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's retail growth and merchandise strategies for their biggest brand. In this full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, purchasing, and allocation of merchandise to ensure optimal product availability and profitability. Duties/Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic merchandising plans to align with the company's overall business objectives Analyze sales data, consumer trends, and market intelligence to make informed buying decisions Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design and marketing, to ensure a cohesive brand identity and customer experience Manage the product lifecycle, from forecasting and purchasing to inventory management and markdown planning Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing Monitor and report on key performance indicators, making data-driven recommendations to improve overall business performance Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in a merchandising or buying role within the fashion and apparel industry Proven track record of successfully managing the full product lifecycle, from planning to allocation Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret sales trends and consumer insights Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (ie.
