Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist The Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s total rewards programs. This includes salary administration, job evaluation, performance-based incentives, and employee benefits. The role ensures internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with government regulations while contributing to employee engagement and retention. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, review, and implementation of the company’s compensation strategy and policies. Conduct salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and market analysis to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business goals. Administer the annual performance appraisal, merit increase, and bonus cycle in coordination with HR and department heads. Provide insights and recommendations on compensation structures, pay bands, and incentive programs. Support management in workforce planning, promotions, and salary adjustments through data‑driven analysis. Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs including health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, and leave management. Evaluate and recommend cost‑effective benefit packages and improvements based on employee needs and market trends. Manage relationships with third‑party vendors and ensure timely processing of claims, renewals, and enrollment. Monitor and analyze benefits utilization and employee feedback to drive engagement and cost optimization. Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government‑mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG, BIR). Oversee the accurate preparation and timely submission of statutory reports and remittances. Maintain and safeguard employee compensation and benefits data with confidentiality and accuracy. Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards related to compensation and benefits. Lead or support HR projects such as total rewards strategy, job grading, and HRIS implementation. Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to HR colleagues on compensation and benefits‑related matters. Continuously review processes for efficiency, automation, and compliance enhancement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field. At least 5 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, with exposure to both strategic and operational aspects. Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government‑mandated benefits. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, HRIS, and data analytics. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion.
