You will make a direct impact by: Creating and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical database models that align with business needs and system requirements. Optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to improve system performance and data integrity across multiple production databases. Resolving complex database support tickets and actively contributing to platform enhancements by diagnosing and fixing structural or logic-related issues. Monitoring database health and implementing performance tuning routines to ensure high availability, data consistency, and system stability. Maintaining documentation, data dictionaries, and metadata that support clarity, collaboration, and sustainable data practices across the organization. You’ve worked on database design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting across complex systems. You’ve responded to internal support tickets and contributed to process improvements or documentation. Technical Skills: You can write and optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures. You understand database health monitoring, performance tuning, and permissions management. You’re comfortable handling metadata, data dictionaries, and routine maintenance tasks. Non‑Negotiables: You’re highly detail‑oriented and methodical. You communicate well across tech and non‑tech teams, with clear documentation and risk flagging. You can work independently and are proactive about solving both structured and ambiguous challenges. Bonus Points: Experience supporting platforms like Watermark or using Freshdesk. Familiarity with data quality troubleshooting and dashboard maintenance. Comfortable navigating multi‑disciplinary teams, including developers and project staff.
