The Business The Research and Innovation Center (RIC) serves as a WTW center of excellence for developing research papers, synthesizing technical developments, and managing and implementing new data resources and tools. The Benefits Data Source (BDS) teams work directly with consultants to design and deliver benefits benchmarking solutions to clients around the world. The teams focus on the following activities: (a) build/maintain the database infrastructure, including standardized tools and reports, (b) maintain the integrity of the data through data cleaning, analysis, and reporting; (c) develop customized client reports and consult directly with clients in situations where BDS analytics are a major part of a consulting project. The Role As a Business Support Specialist within BDS, you will contribute to a number of activities to support our global database. You will have the opportunity to: Develop technical knowledge of benefit plans and HR policies and practices around the world Use and develop data, process, and project management skills Key activities include: Learn and understand the benefits and HR policies and practices landscape of assigned countries by maintaining contents of BDS knowledge base Process client submissions and data entry requests through checking of completeness and accuracy of data, preparing and sending queries, interpreting plan documents and client answers, and coordinating with stakeholders via email or phone calls Manage and maintain the quality of survey questionnaires by reviewing content and ensuring the survey is aligned with the current country provisions, logging questionnaire changes on a timely manner, and coordinating with local country champions on necessary updates Adhere to all approved process documents, workflows, templates, and training materials Effective understanding and use of the various tools and platforms in the collection, processing, and reporting of data Coordinate and collaborate with the team on a daily basis to ensure quality and timeliness of work through sharing of ideas and best practices Ensuring adherence to Excellence standards Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in a program with emphasis on mathematics or business Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); experience in databases would be an asset Previous benefits or insurance experience a plus Keen attention to details and commitment to excellence Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate Working within tight deadlines; balancing time across multiple, simultaneous projects that may involve different procedures and project team members Collaboration with a global team, include taking accountability for quality and on-time delivery of own work and involving other team members when appropriate Structured problem solving and analytical thinking Proficiency in English required WTW is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
