About the Role

San Miguel Aerocity Inc. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant (Talent Acquisition) to join our Human Resources team. The role is responsible for supporting and executing end-to-end recruitment activities —from sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding—ensuring timely placement of qualified talent across SMAI departments. This position also contributes to employer branding initiatives , recruitment analytics, and compliance with company policies and labour regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Execution

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, and endorsing candidates to hiring managers.

  • Coordinate closely with hiring managers to align on manpower requirements, job profiles, and recruitment timelines.

  • Conduct initial interviews and assessments, ensuring candidate alignment with role and cultural fit.

  • Schedule and facilitate interviews, exams, and other recruitment-related assessments.

  • Prepare and review recruitment documents, including endorsement forms, interview feedback, and offer sheets.

  • Assist in the coordination of onboarding activities and ensure smooth turnover of new hires to HR account services.

Recruitment Data & Systems Management

  • Maintain accurate and updated candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and recruitment tracker.

  • Generate and analyse recruitment reports (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, hiring trends) to guide decision-making.

  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with data privacy standards and labour regulations.

Employer Branding & Engagement

  • Manage job postings across internal and external platforms, including job boards, social media, universities, and professional networks.

  • Support participation in career fairs, school partnerships, and employer branding initiatives to strengthen SMAI’s talent pipeline.

  • Assist in creating recruitment-related communications and promotional materials.

HR Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support such as preparing employment contracts and maintaining employee files.

  • Assist in other HR-related tasks as needed to support the team’s overall objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in recruitment or HR-related functions (experience in project-based or infrastructure recruitment is an advantage).

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Basic knowledge of Philippine labour laws, recruitment best practices, and compliance requirements.

Work Setup
  • Full-time, onsite role based in Ortigas, Pasig City.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites, partner schools, or recruitment events when required.
