RoleThe project is a leading Australian fire safety provider protecting lives and assets across healthcare, data centres, education, and commercial spaces. We’re looking for an aspiring Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team. Responsibilities- Own the numbers : Process accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Drive improvement : Identify opportunities to refine policies and recommend smarter processes.
- Protect what matters : Handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion.
- Be audit-ready : Support both internal and external audits with confidence.
- Keep cash flowing : Prepare and process cash receipts seamlessly.
- Stay on top : Perform timely, accurate account reconciliations.
- Lead collections : Manage collection efforts and related functions to keep everything on track.
- You have an Associate’s degree in Accounting (or related field) and 1–3 years of hands-on Accounts Receivable experience .
- You know your way around AR functions, including collections, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- You bring knowledge of Australian accounting processes and a solid grounding in basic accounting principles.
- You’re familiar with accounting systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Navision and are eager to sharpen your expertise further.
- You bring proven skills in Microsoft Office, with advanced know-how in Excel.
- You thrive on accuracy and detail, with the ability to analyze large sets of data and spot what others might miss. You communicate clearly—verbal, written, or across teams.

- You’ll go through 3–4 interviews plus a possible assessment with our client partner. Includes an initial chat, a culture-fit interview, and 1–2 conversations with the client. The process usually takes 1–2 weeks; we’ll update you if things move quicker.
