The company will focus on the same core business areas as its parent company, including Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) across a wide range of infrastructure projects such as buildings, power plants, civil works, and more. In addition to its EPC expertise, Samsung C&T Philippines will actively pursue opportunities in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and infrastructure investment ventures. With the full support and collaboration of Samsung C&T Corporation’s headquarters, the company is committed to continuously expanding its presence and driving growth in the Philippine market. Job Summary Samsung C&T Philippines, Corp. is seeking a seasoned Business Development Officer who has a strong background working with foreign or multinational firms and a successful history in project development, bidding, and partnerships for projects particularly in the power and renewable energy sector. In addition, plus points are those with projects involving roads, bridges, airports, power and renewable energy, data centers, government buildings, and high‑rise commercial and residential towers. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of bidding and tendering processes, especially for government agencies such as DOE, ERC, DENR, DPWH and DOTr, and strong expertise in EPC; understanding PPP project development is a plus. Key Responsibilities Source and secure key project‑related information through active market scanning, stakeholder engagement, and intelligence gathering. Analyze project documentation, including contract documents, bidding books, terms and conditions, specifications, and forms of tender. Lead or support the full bidding process, coordinating across legal, technical, and financial functions to ensure comprehensive and competitive submissions. Develop and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders such as government agencies (DPWH, DOTr), developers, and contractors. Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities aligned with company growth targets in infrastructure and energy sectors. Track market trends, competitor activities, and government procurement programs to inform strategy and positioning. Represent Samsung C&T Philippines in meetings, conferences, and negotiations with both public and private sector partners. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related field. 10–15 years of experience in infrastructure and construction business development, preferably with foreign or multinational companies operating in the Philippines. Extensive experience in project bidding and tendering, particularly with government agencies such as DOE, ERC, DENR, DPWH and DOTr. Strong background with Power and Renewable Industry. Strong exposure to EPC and PPP projects. Solid background in large‑scale infrastructure projects, including transport (roads, bridges, airports), energy (power, renewables), data centers, and high‑rise buildings. Established network within government, and construction sector stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Highly analytical with strong commercial and strategic thinking skills. Additional Qualifications Expertise in end‑to‑end bid management – from bid preparation and tender coordination, package documentation and follow‑ups. Strong capability in Business Development, Sales and Marketing. Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proactive and self‑motivated attitude.
