Automotive PDI Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Pre-Delivery Inspection guidelines (i.e., transportation, Storage, PDI) align with the manufacturer’s standard.
  • Inspection and confirmation of claim type (i.e., warranty, insurance, charge to service provider) and defect (let-go process) based on set /agreed standard and guidelines, Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL).
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports that is essential to monitor, evaluate and improve the PDI operations.
  • Ensure that all inspection and works are consistently recorded and accurately documented.
  • Conduct periodic spot check with the vehicle (randomly) before delivery to ensure maximum adherence with PDI standard process.
  • Report with related department and organization (i.e., aftersales, parts, sales, PDI service provider) in case of any major repair /service needs to be performed on the vehicle prior to its delivery.
  • Coordinate with Parts Department for parts ordering, supply monitoring and availability of required spare parts.
  • Coordinate with sales for the updated vehicle status.
  • Monitor the PDI Technicians to ensure that all inspections and repair are performed correctly, efficiently and maintain high level of quality.
  • Manage the flow of all PDI works such as technician availability, vehicle inspection, vehicle service and repair completion (as required), accurate data capturing & deviation if observed.
  • Ensure the implementation and completion of service /recall campaign prior the vehicle delivery.
  • Monitor the Port Installed Option (PIO) if available and secure its quality in communication with AS Technical & Quality Section.
  • Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years experience of auto distributor aftersales
  • knowledgeable in technical and quality in automotive industry
  • Willing to report onsite in Santo Tomas City, Batangas
  • Willing to report to the Head Office in BGC, Taguig City once a week for the weekly meetings and reporting
  • Can start ASAP
